六十年代末。凤的外孙女白慧珍(佘诗曼分饰)瞒著丈夫戴立仁(马德钟分饰)工作。仁以*报复，二人的婚姻告终。此际，二人受命一同负责凤凰餐厅的宣传计划。反映女性争取男女平等的有趣现象。
二十一世纪。凤的曾孙女戴思嘉(佘诗曼分饰)和方家安(马德钟分饰)因为过於自我而结束了同居的关系。分开後，嘉拿著世代相传的凤凰楼食谱开设凤凰楼私房菜，重展百年家业。反映女性得到了自由但迷失了生活方向。

Movie Plot

The Unborn is a Thai horror movie which is based on an urban legend that became the talk of the town in 2000.

The story is about a student who fell in love and have had sex with one of the teacher in her school. So, the teacher asked the girl to do abortion to the baby she is having, and the girl does not want it. So, they were fighting on a staircase somewhere in the school and accidentally, the girl fell down from the staircase and bleed. The teacher thought she was dead, and asked some people who has voodoo skill to throw her into a river and sealed the place so that her soul will not come back and haunt the teacher. Just before they about to throw the girl, they found out that the girl still alive, and they decided to really kill her. So there goes her life with her womb.

When her body was discovered, the police considered as a suicide case. So, the guy who was ordered to throw her, get an offer from a businessman from HongKong to get him a womb to be placed on his Pub/Casino, so that he will be given luck. As the girl soul was sealed, she couldn’t haunt the people who killed her. So, the girl soul went and find this Por (a pub girl) who is pregnant and get warded into a hospital after being hit by a drug trafficker, haunted her and almost make her mad. In the end, the girl ghost showed Por what she wants from her. She wants her baby which is taken from her dead body to be back and released from the seal. So, the story continues….
